The Culinary Institute of America
The Culinary Institute of America was established in 1946 in NY as a vocational training school of the World War II veterans. It was the first culinary school to be granted a college associate degree and is known as one of the best Culinary School in the world. In 1995 the Greystone Campus in Napa opens as the college’s Continuing Education Campus. Here at Greystone, The World of Flavor International Conference & Festival is held every November. Food industry professionals from all round the world gather to learn and exchange ideas. This year the topic is “The rise of Asia”. And in 2010 it will focused on JAPAN. As a graduate of the CIA I am happy to be help coordinate this project and to share the beauty of Japan and to learn more about the globe.

カリフォルニアワインカウンティー

A town of Hospitality
Of the many places I have lived, I have only spent a year in Napa.
But there is something that makes me feel it’s my home town in America
Is it the food, wine, people or climate? I’m not sure but it’s probably the addition of all that makes Napa and Sonoma such a beautiful town with heart-full people.
They don’t run for trends like most cities.  They respect true things that are natural like Seasonality. From supermarkets to restaurant you can feel the season and I think that’s true natural trend. As long as I have the opportunity I’d like to continue to share this CA Wine County experience with many people who would respect this thought.
